Rotarians –

There is much to report!

Last weekend, those Rotarians who rang the bell for the Salvation Army took in a total of $1462.68 – great job!

Today, 125 children were given a Christmas they would never have had but for your efforts and the generosity of our sponsors. It was a fantastic day. Many thanks to Grace Bottini and her committee of very hard workers. Also, special thanks to these sponsors who made the day possible: Wal Mart, First Niagara Bank, Fidelis, Adirondack Bank, the Ocuto Family and last but not least the Sears Foundation who called just hours before the event today with the great news that we were awarded a $5,000 grant for the party. Both Howard Sears and several people from First Niagara Bank came to the party today to witness, first hand, the amazing event they made possible. Below are just a couple photos from the event, more to follow.

And there is still more! Don’t forget that tonight is the Christmas Party for the residents at Rome Memorial Hospital. Debbie Adamo chairs this event. It happens at 7 pm on the 3rd Floor. The residents very much enjoy seeing the Rotarians there so please try to stop by.

And finally, if any Rotarians went to the round table at the Franklin today, instead of the Children’s Christmas party, please let me know so we can note your attendance. Thank you everyone,

Greg/Debbie
