Rotary Business Meeting
Aside from the above
announcements, at today’s meeting, we discussed various club matters. Jim Donovan gave a Canalfest
update. In addition to many updates
on the event, he mentioned that we could use some events for the main cooking
tent if anyone is interested and we are in desperate need of sponsorships and
help for Dave Kobernuss who is in charge of obtaining sponsorships. Canalfest is our major fundraiser – we
need all hands on deck! We also need everyone to sell all their duck tickets so
we can continue to do the things we do as a Club. Juan, our exchange student, also spoke about his experiences
here. He’s had a wonderful year,
he loved skiing all Winter at Woods Valley and very much enjoyed his trips to
Maine and Washington, D.C. and spoke glowingly of all his host families
including Rotarians Nancy and Chris Neiley. Thank you Juan!
