The After Work group will be dining at
the Cozy Cabin at the intersection of Rt 46 & Rt 69 on March 18 at 6:30 pm.
Rotary
will have a booth at the Chamber of Commerce Home Show and Past
President/Co-Secretary Adamo is circulating a sign up sheet. Please see Debbie to volunteer so we
can raise awareness, get members and sell Duck Tickets. Please contact Debbie
at 335-2593.
The
Rome Chamber Silent Auction is March 26, 2010 at Beeches – please try to attend
as it it raises money for Honor America Days.
There is a Rotary Leadership
Institute on April 10 at VVS, interested Rotarians should contact President
Bob.

Board Meetings will be Third Monday of the Month at Savoy Restaurant at
5:15 p.m.
Program – Rome Humane Society, Sue Grande
Sue Grande spoke about the Humane Society, located on Lamphear Road,
cares for unwanted and uncared for dogs and cats from Rome and the surrounding
areas. They also provide
educational programs on how to care for animals at Utica and Verona schools,
YMCA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
They also offer dog obedience training. They had more animals than ever before in 2009 and really
need help with: adopting pets, volunteering and donating supplies. Thank you Sue!
